STR Lancaster provided me with exactly what I needed in order to reach my goals. Staff are an appropriate balance of professional, and compassionately relatable. The environment is structured in a way that suits easing into recovery so that the work is diligent, without shocking your system. Staff was very caring and understanding. Tanya was a relief from the heavy stuff during the day. Jackie's art therapy was a great way to round out Wednesday.
My time at STR was truly an eye opening, special experience; one where the staff treated me with respect, kindness and understanding. My 1:1 therapist (and all the therapist for that matter) created a safe environment where I felt safe to share while also challenged to grow deeper in my treatment, thus getting the most out of my time at STR. I would recommend to any family, friend or person seeking mental health or substance treatment in order or around Lancaster.
