This was our 4th stay at this hotel, with previous visits being in 2013, 2014 and 2019, so it's safe to say somethings have changed a bit but we still had a nice stay here. It appears to now be being run by a new entity who has improved some of the landscaping around the grounds, some privacy screening around the pool area, and has brought in a bit of a 'theme' with new colours for the souvenirs and accessories in the rooms etc. We've had the same room each time we visit (just for a trip down memory lane!) and this was prett... read more

This property is located inside the NP which was the main reason why we chose to stay here. We had to wait for about 10 minutes to be checked in as there was no one at the counter. The staff were quite welcoming. They got us checked in quickly, handed us over the towels required and directed us to our room. There is a nice old lodge look and feel to the property and the room. Very convenient location for staying in Death Valley, great views from the parking lot, has a general store and good restaurant, our room was $144/night.
