I needed a motor on my spa fixed and asked an electrical contractor friend where to take it. He said all the electrical contractors use Stout's. Took the motor in and they gave me a free repair quote. They repaired it quickly and iit has worked perfectly ever since. I see why the contractors all use these guys.

I took three motors in for repair. After a free evaluation, they told me one was not worth repairing and repaired the other two. They charged a reasonable fee and the motors came out like new. My neighbor recommended them and said he'd been using them for years and they always treated him well.

This man sold me a irrigation pump and it would run for about a minute and it would shut the breaker off and I took it back he looked at it and told me I was running it off a 220 and I told him that it was a 110 so I try it with a heavy duty extension cord connected it inside the house and it ran for a minute and the cord was getting warm and before I could unplug it it just stated smoking and stopped working took it back again he insisted it was my fault well we argued and then finally got my money back went and purchased o... read more

I took a motor in for repair that ran but had a hard time starting. After a $242 recondition of which $9.05 was a start capacitor which I believe was the problem I picked up the assembled motor and housing and mounted it to the pump with a gasket and 8 bolts. After 2 + hours the motor overheated and tripped the breaker. I returned the motor to Stout and he said the impeller was dragging which cause the motor to burn up.
