I recently took my son to the clinic for a foot injury and was told by the nurse practitioner to go to the hospital to get an X-ray. The next day, some person from his office called and said his X-ray was OK and just keep him out of P.E. for a week. I asked them if I could get a referral to an orthopedic doctor because my son has had about 8 broke bones in the last five years.
