Under no circumstances should you purchase from a company like this. Their general manager “Zach Boegler” has their sales people just write down your credit and financial info and will keep it in their vehicles for weeks! They lost their contract with Lowe’s and Home Depot because of practices like this! This level of carelessness is rampant throughout they will not honor their contracts, agreements and definitely not their time frames
Jacob and his crew at Storm Guardian Generators did an excellent job installing my generator. They were punctual and always left things very tidy - from installing the pad and generator to installing the hook-up boxes to the city power. I highly recommend Storm Guardian!
Installation was later than date quoted but there were supply chain issues so not necessarily their issue. Unit is supposed to be annually serviced but they didn't reach out to me, luckily the dummy switch on my unit failed and I called them so was able to get the maintenance done by them at the same time. Recently had my HVAC serviced to resolve issue, they replaced a part and on their invoice they stated: "Found high-voltage for downstairs condenser wired in through Generac. We had a great experience from start to finish. Everybody we dealt with at SGG was professional and detail oriented. They were also very timely, even with having to deal with permitting and inspections with the city of Austin and the gas company. Last week the power went out for over 12 hours due to the storms and the generator kicked in within seconds and worked great! My previous experience was far less than stellar so I want to give 5 stars on my 3rd installation. My 65kw generator performed perfectly in this last storm. It powered 4 AC units and several refrigerators and our washer/dryer for 5 days straight. When properly installed SGGS was a lifeline.
