We went by a recommendation from a friend. There were 5 of us so we had a variety of food. Service was great; seated quickly and everyone was very friendly. I had the special, blt with fried green tomatoes. It was excellent and the fries were great! I wanted one of the daily soups but by 1pm, they were out of it. My husband had the burger in which was huge and he loved it! My teenager ordered the Italian sandwich and coleslaw...the coleslaw had to much vinegar in it but the sandwich was good. Great place for lunch and dinner on Main Street Blowing Rock, NC!
Had lunch there yesterday. Ordered my usual Storie Street Salad (my favorite!) and the soup that was on special, Cream of Mushroom. The soup was bland. Had plenty of mushrooms in it though. I added some salt to give it some flavor, but it definitely needed something more. I'll return as long as they don't ever change that salad!
