Good facility. The people are friendly, especially the lady that is there during the week. The location is really convenient for me.
This is the 3rd storage place ive used in my life (54 years) and it has been the WORST!!. it did leak, things got moldy. I had to throw away several small appliances, had to wash all my furniture either by steam cleaning or chlorine bleach water-everything was musty moldy, clothes & shoes were thrown out because of it, & what recourse do I have because they have it in their contract -do not guarentee unit does not leak. my son used them years ago also & said it was good but of course he had a temperature control unit. I examined these storage units before I decided NOT to rent. They are quite old and rusty. Standing water had accumulated on the floors of some units and the air was quite musty. The units are located in a fenced yard with gravel driveways. The only heated units available are 5 x 8 cages, inside a separate warehouse area, and are accessible only during office hours. The regular units have 24 hour access, but only minor external lighting is provided, so night access is not recommended.

Used to be a better place – I called Storebin and asked about prices of storage units, and as it turns out they raised their prices recently. In the middle of a recession?? And their prices are about the same, or higher than other McHenry storage companies. A friend of mine has recently moved out of this place because he got frustrated with the changing office staff, and the lack of upkeep in the area where the units are. Great Place! – I've had a great experience here with storing my things the girl was very nice college student and very friendly. Not ever any problems and always willing to go the extra mile to help out customers.
