Storage Star is clean and well maintained facility, but the real stars are the staff who go out of their way to resolve issues and keep the tenants happy.
Monique at Storage Star has been excellent to work with — she provided a tour, answered all of my questions and is extremely knowledgeable about the facilities which are very nice.
This place is new, clean, and well-lit. But the customer service is abysmal. They are incredibly inhospitable. A non-profit that I volunteer with rented a large space there to store large quantities of new household items (cleaning supplies, kitchen supplies, and bedding) that had been donated. The non-profit helps get people in transition - families, persons fleeing DV, homeless - into homes. They have housed hundreds of people in the Sacramento area in the last few months. What a great experience! Melissa was very helpful getting me signed up and showing me my unit. She was very knowledgeable of what unit I would need after letting her know what items we were planning to store. It took all of 5-7 minutes. The facilities are clean and nice... very easy to use my code. They even have different size carts available to use when unloading. Highly recommend
Staff is friendly but the company will just randomly increase rent up to 50% a month citing "current market prices" and then they will disable your auto pay and then charge you a "fee" because you were unaware you missed your payment. The facility is very clean and easy to access.
