In 1986 Angelo & Agathi Koukoularis decided to open a new pizzeria in the Stonington area where they were living with their two young children. The new Stonington Landing had recently opened, and seemed an ideal location to serve the surrounding towns of Mystic and Pawcatuck, as well as the residents and visitors in Stonington. I won’t give away my age but suffice it to say I have had a few pizzas in my life. Hands down, Stonington Pizza has the best pepperoni pizza I have ever eaten in my life (5 decades and counting).
Split a large cheese pizza with pepperoni and sweet sausage and an order of onion rings with a friend. Good food and friendly service, would definitely recommend.
