I'm sure the doctors here are fine, my husband is a patient. However, the staff at the front desk are rude and unhelpful. Poor customer service is annoying in any industry, but in the healthcare it is cruel to treat someone not feeling well as if you're bothering them to do their job. I will be looking for another doctor. If I can't be treated with professionalism and respect on the frontline then I can't be bothered.

WORST ON CALL PEDIATRIC CARE EVER – I have been going to this office for over a year myself and when I found out that they saw children too, I was ecstatic. My Doctor in that office is wonderful and I thought it would be great for my kids to see her too. Well my son had been having coughing fits for awhile and the previous doctor's remedies did not work. I took my son to see my Doctor at Stoney Batter and he loved her and she was excellent with him. She tried a nebulizer because she said he was wheezing and it did the trick.... read more

Wonderful service, great doctor – I recently moved to Delaware and after much investigating chose Stoney Batter. I've only been to the office 3 times, but they have been wonderful. I've never had to wait more that a few minutes and checkin/checkout was a breeze. Dr Mullins listens like she really cares..... and I think she does. Whenever I've needed to reach the office by phone, the receptionist has been friendly and informative. So far I am very pleased

Good Practice - Great Doctors! – I have been coming to this practice for 10 years. With the exception of 1 time, I have always had a very good experience with the office staff and an excellent experience with the doctors. The are great about not over booking appointments, so I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes in the waiting room and 5 minutes in the exam room. My family has received excellent care from Dr. Scott Schaeffer at Stoney Batter Family Medicine. We have never felt rushed through, he has always listened closely and been honest with us. We even chose to use him instead of a pedicatrician when our son was born. Highly recommend him as a family doctor.

WORST management ever! – I recently movved into this area and one of the Doctors at Stoney Batter was highly recommended. That Doctor was indeed wonderful, but I finally left her care because the management at Stoney Batter is attrocious. I have never in my life experienced such incompitency. For three day stretches at a time they have the machine turned to an automated message which says the office is closed or on exchange. These time periods are not around holidays.
