Editing my original review would not achieve the same result as deleting and amending; New: D.R. Horton management staff reached out to me, likely as a result of this bad review, and I could not take the call. They were adamant that they *wanted* to discuss my problems so they set up a follow up call for that following Friday. The call never came, and I have had no further contact attempts from them. I am certain now more than I was that D.R. Horton does not care about their clients after signing the paperwork for purchase. ... read more
D.R. Horton has a quality issue company-wide. The houses are poorly built and cost a small fortune, the warranty process is beyond infuriating to work thru, almost anyone we have dealt with is either outright rude or has no idea how to perform their job and the D.R. contracted companies that do their warranty services (with a rare few exceptions) are the same low quality that I have come to expect from D.R. Horton. You will be treated like a sovereign right up until you sign the paperwork and take ownership of the property. ... read more
Empty plot in the center of subdivision looks terrible. There is nothing for the kids to do. No one is 100% sure who the lot belongs to the city or DR Horton. There is nothing but tall grass and probably snakes. Another new subdivision has a pool and park already for kids to have something to do and it’s no where near completed. I feel like they just want your money here.
