RecommendedGreat organization for boys and girls
The folks in the Waynesboro Scout Store have consistently gone above and beyond their job description to help struggling volunteers like myself. We had a Court of Honor coming up, and I was having trouble driving to the store (I was having trouble getting out of bed - bad case of the flu, with multiple family members affected). Brad, the store manager, worked out a way to mail the badges to me, and when that method failed, actually drove them over himself to me on a Saturday. Not many businesses would do that for a customer.
A remarkable Council. They have friendly staff as well as amazing leadership. Our numbers increase each year with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. The highlight are the numerous Eagle Scouts each year.
Love being a part of it and it's a great program for boys to be able to learn life lessons and trade skills
