Updating my review because we visited again this past Saturday and the girl at the register that took my order just totally ruined our morning by taking my order and rushing me the entire time with an attitude! And when I was trying to figure out the math to leave her a tip, she got even more of an attitude, told me "I dont know your total is blah blah blah" and proceeded to walk around me with an attitude to take the order behind me (who literally just arrived) so I then, decided to keep the tip which I felt like she defini... read more
After about a 2hr ride from Jersey, we were famished and stopped at this cafe. We walked in a the man at the counter (forgot to get names I’m so sorry) was so nice and made sure there was no dairy in anything for my brother who is lactose intolerant. In addition to the lactose, my mom who is Celiac was offered gluten free recommendations and chose two different biscotti cookies which she LOVED. Food is good very good have been here more then once would recommend how ever this past time the service was horrible they totally forgot about us i had to go up and ask them for our food after watching 2 different couples get there order taken and received there food and the girl that took our order initially was gone and there was a new gentlemen there who helped us get our food quickly after that but the girl is very careless
Such a nice historic building for a cafe! The space is beautiful, rustic and cozy. We hade spiced chais that were incredible while waiting for our burgers…they were delicious as well. Service is friendly although a bit slow when we were there…likely because they were busy, which is always a good indicator of a good establishment.
