How have we lived at Grand Lake 9 years and never heard of this little restaurant? We left an afternoon of golf from Peoria Ridge and went in Miami to find a place to eat and n our way to another recommended eatery, came across Stonehill Grill. I ordered a medium steak baked potato and salad and as pleasantly surprised. The server and the food were BOTH great. Husband had a chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and a salad. Ribeye steak thin like breakfast steak, fries cold, service good
Friendly service and good food - creative and tasty. Loved the tortilla soup and fried catfish.
This was the first time my husband & I ate here and we had a pleasant experience. I ordered the fried catfish plate and I thought it was the best I've had in a long time. My husband ordered the chicken fried chicken. His only complaint was that the crust was a little greasy. The waitress was very nice & attentive. The only thing she didn't offer us any dessert before handing us our receipt. We didn't really need the dessert, but it would have been nice to be asked. I give them 4 stars.
It's a clean place to dine. Service is ok nothing to brag about food was good.
