Tonight, the art of totally ignoring a customer waiting to be seated was perfected at Stonefire Grill. Either the person who was to be seating customers was on break and the person handling take out orders couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge me and at least say that someone would be here in just a moment to seat me. After being totally ignored for 5 minutes, I left and spent my dinner money elsewhere.
My wife and I ate there at 630 pm last night, we are both up feeling terrible. Diaharia, nausea, and headaches all around. I don't believe they make the food ala minute. I think it all might be precooked and kept warm. Unfortunately our food was probably in the temperature danger zone. Meaning it wasn't kept at the right temp, or was kept for too long. It's the small details that make eating out very unpleasant. As a chef myself I'm going back there tomorrow and talking to the GM.
