RecommendedMy Mother lived at Stonecroft almost two years...She was 88 when she fell ill..She had congestive heart failure and dementia...For seven weeks she was bedridden after coming back from the hospital, we knew she was dying...All four of her children and grandchildren stayed around the clock for a week with her...The staff was excellent as well as kind...They brought down a mattress for whoever was on night duty, they brought fruit, chips, muffins, beverages from the kitchen on a huge serving cart...They came when we needed them... read more

A family members is there now. He is in for rehab after a heart attack and has other health issues as well as Parkinsons. We have cared for him at home, 24/7, for the last year, family only. We know what his care entails. We also understand that Stoncroft is understaffed and has roughly 10 patients : 1 staff member. Since he was moved to Stonecroft, we have done nothing but have one issue or another with the staff and the care provided to him, and how our family is treated ... Continue Reading
I know a member of the Stonecroft Health Campus, April Williams, through business groups I am a part of Bloomington Chamber of Commerce and BNI. I have done seminars at Stonecroft Health Campus and I have taken a tour of the facility. I am impressed with the staff and the care they provide to the residents. I have even seen April get food for a resident and another time help a resident into a wheel chair and help them go out on a patio. The rehab team is excellent. Not impressed with the care from nursing staff. My mom suffered a concussion and was sent for rehab due to fall risk. A nurse attempted to walk her back from dining room but failed to use a gait belt. Mom fell, suffering her second concussion in 5 weeks. This prolonged her stay to almost three months. Our attempts to negotiate the bill have been unanswered. They contend a gait belt wasn’t ordered yet everyone else who worked with her used one. Very clean and the staff are very wonderful. Great place.
My grandpa is in there now! They’re very understaffed. Every meal isn’t what he orders! Every meal is cold because it sits at the nurses station until the understaffed workers get to it! They don’t do random checks on patients, this being said went today to visit and my grandpa was on the floor with call light on for who knows long he’d been like that. Not pleased at all!!!
