I can’t say enough good about this place! Obviously, it is visually appealing the moment you step into the building. Clean, neat and doesn’t have any hint of the odor that so often makes itself known in senior living facilities. The staff is friendly and attentive. About a month ago I got a call from my cousin that my aunt was actively dying and if I wanted to see her again it was time to head to St. Louis. My Grandma “B” is currently the oldest resident here at this Assisted Living facility. American House truly loves their residents and treats them with respect, grace and love. I am so grateful that she is here and living in such a compassionate and friendly environment! She is truly blessed by this “home away from home” and all the people who are called to work here. It was a very tough decision moving my mother-in-law into assisted living. I reviewed about 15 different places in my area and we went and toured 5. We choose Wildwood Village for its warmth of the staff, the quality of the facilities and the amenities they offer along with a few other items. She has been there for a couple of months and It feels like home to her now. The staff has been amazing! Some she considers friends now (Aleigha, Eric and Tish) and many others who have been so thoughtful, helpful and kind.
I literally cannot say enough good things about Aleigha and Katrie. Reaching out about memory care for a loved one is not easy, but they made the entire experience feel so manageable. They were SO kind, patient, & took the time to listen to my concerns. They explained everything in a way that was easy for me to understand & made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. If you’re looking for a place where people truly care, I would highly recommend working with them! ◡̈
