RecommendedI love the place! The drive from Syracuse is about 90 min. (Door to door). It is flipping incredible. if you decide to make the drive, don't forget the wineries, distilleries and (most importantly) the breweries! My wife and I discovered Stonecat years ago, while driving around Seneca Lake. It was their last day for the season, and a cold wind was whipping the leaves around on the deck. The food was phenomenal. Ever since, any time we get back to Ithaca, I HAVE to get over to Stonecat at least once!
The chef was very accommodating and made me a delicious vegan meal that wasn’t on the menu. For dessert I had a yummy vegan crisp with sour cherry sorbet. The restaurant has a cozy vibe with a wonderful wait staff. Sheila, our server, was warm, friendly, and helpful.
Love this fun and great place to eat. Calm, chill and relaxing. Good band. Local ingredients!
Can’t recommend this place enough. Lovely atmosphere (especially the outdoor seating with a gorgeous view), super friendly and competent staff, excellent wine list, fantastic food!
