I live in one of those single family houses built by Stonebridge homes inc in South weymouth. Coincidentally, our community is also called "Stonebridge". The house is well built and i'm very happy and feel safe in this house every day! I moved into this house in jan 2022, now it is 3 yrs..i foresee next 20-30 yrs here!!!! Customer service for this house after we move in is excellent as well. If you want to buy a new house, choose stonebridge!!!
Don't be Fooled! Stonebridge Homes will fill your head with false hopes, missed deadlines and if you complain too much they might just break the contract and intimidate you not to sue to get your well invested money back. Make sure you ask people in his previous developments who actually made it from start to move in what they thought of the process. 6 month from signature to move in will be minimal a year. I'm just upset. A year ago, I bought a new apartment, and it was 2 months since my pipes flowed, the air conditioner broke down. When I called the service, they told me that you had run out of warranty. It's just terrible, very upset and dissatisfied.
Same issue as the person from Copperwood. Once they sell you the house they literally DO NOT CARE. We did our one year punch list in November and we are still waiting to have the big ticket items fixed. We had to pay someone to do all the little things they were supposed to fix. Not to mention we are supposed to have irrigation and in over a year has never worked consistently. Landscaping is horrendous. We just get the run around.
If I would have known before what I know now about this company and the way they deal with buyers issues, I would have never built a home with stonebridge. They rush to put the houses up too fast so the craftsmanship of the homes are awful. We had a major issue with our fireplace that could of started a fire in our home. The post to my deck was placed in front of our living room window and I had to fight for it to be moved. There was a leak from one of our showers. Nothing but issues and little to no action in our brand new Copperwood Estates home. Email after email for 6-7 months, meets with super to ensure more action and the issues keep getting worse. Would buy from them if I could go back in time at this point I have to take day after day off of work to get something (1 of many items addressed) and half the time it isn’t even fixed. The lack of care after they sell you the house with their warranty is appalling.
