If we could give him 100 stars, we would. After 2 other surgeons over 11 years, and over 10 ankle surgeries, we finally found Dr. Stoneback. At first we were not sure what to think, as he was very upfront at what we were looking at and the possibility of an amputation. But Dr. Stoneback is simply the best at what he does. He saved my husband's leg and my husband finally has his life back. Thank you Dr. Stoneback!!!
Am in my 70s. Broken clavicle from a cycling accident. Dr. Stoneback did a great job at guiding my recovery. Meticulous. Great manner with patients. Highly recommended.
Had a fall rock climbing in July 2023 which required emergency surgery in Canada. Nine months later my femur was non-union. I talked to doctors across the country and chose Dr. Stoneback. Seven months after seven hour redo surgery last June my facture is almost completely healed. Dr Stoneback and his team did amazing work, not only in the OR, but in the post-op with care around nutrition and movement. If you have a serious ortho issue I think there is no one better.
I saw Maria, the Nurse Practitioner, and Dr Stoneback right after I started experiencing severe pain in my already amputated leg in early September. I had an X-ray and CT scan done prior to my appointment to which both radiologists wrote that I had bone fragments in my leg, likely displaced from my fibula.
