I got myself in a bit of a pickle needed a fireplace hearth last minute. I explained my problem to Joe and Beth, they bent over backwards working with me to help me complete my project on time. I've dealt with a lot of companies in the past on project related supplies, none have been as responsive and understanding as these guys! More businesses should be run like The Stone Zone!
We just had Stone Zone do some Limestone treads for a project of ours where the homeowner wanted to class up their existing front entryway. The people at Stone Zone were easy to work with and made things so much better to deal with. Plus the finished product looks absolutely amazing. If you're not getting your stone/rocks, of ALL sorts, from Stone Zone.... are you getting rocks at all? My favorite spot to window shop and purchase for all my stone landscaping needs.
They sell flagstone, by the ton...just what I wanted. however they expect that you can either make a bunch of trips to hand load into your car a few pieces at a time or they will charge you $20/ton and the guy will hand each piece to you to unload off the truck. Sorry, there are places far cheaper that can actually offload with a fork truck too.
