Scott was a fantastic person to deal with. My experience was a unique one as I was not in need of a home inspection. I submitted an estimate request through a third party website for an insulation quote, which resulted in a very unhelpful phone call with said third party service. I did not need a home inspection based on my home issues, however the third party directed my request to Scott at Stone-South Home Inspection. Scott did an amazing job! He was very thorough down to checking every electrical outlet inside and outside of the house. I met him at the home and he walked me through every aspect of the inspection. In total he spent around 8 hours (6 of those I was with him slowing him down) inspecting the house, guest house and outbuilding. He is a wealth of knowledge and really seemed to enjoy talking me through what he was looking for and common problems or shortcuts he sees often. I would 100% recomend him!!! Scott is very professional. He was on time and very thorough. Any questions that I had he was very informative and patient with me as we walked through the house. If you're looking for an inspector I would recommend him 100%. You will definitely be satisfied with his work!

Scott went above and beyond my expectation providing high quality service with customer first mind set. His report was very detail oriented and easy to follow, finding over 30 items to be addressed, for which seller fixed most of all based on Scott’s clear feedback. Inspection got rescheduled few times due to seller not being ready, but Scott made himself available and got inspection done even requested at the very last minute. Scott was a sincere pleasure to work with. We needed a home inspection for an investment property in a somewhat short time frame and he met the challenge which we highly appreciated. Scott was very fair priced and provided a very detailed high quality report. He also made himself available to answer following up needs and questions. Will be using him for all our properties.
