I love how many options of Quartzite there are. We did not need an appointment to go into their showroom, and they displayed sq ft price with install and fabrication on every slab there. I would highly recommend stopping in to check them out!
We purchased Quartzite counter tops from StoneSource in 2021 after being told they're a great choice for kitchens. We had Granite in our prior home and they were very durable and we were assured Quartzite was equaly durable. After two years we noticed some discoloration along the edges that gradually got larger and also appeared on our island which isn't near heat, grease or water. I also don't believe these stains are from the sink as there are two seperate stones on each side of the sink (the seam splits in the center of t... read more
Stone Source in ******** ** had a good selection of granite and quartzite slabs, but their installation was terrible. If you buy slabs from them, I highly recommend you have someone else do the fabrication and install. Stone Source did extensive damage to our custom cabinets when they installed the island countertop (over $1,000 in damage) and will not pay for the damage because according to my salesperson, "In the signed contract, it states that Stone Source is not liable for damage to cabinets as it is a construction site ... read more
The sales person ***** was friendly. However the installers were a real problem. The supervisor ***** was extremely rude yelling at me in my own home and refusing to answer questions. The other two men were pleasant but put the back splash in wrong causing an unsightly seam. The silicone along the wall was all over the quartz. I was told the silicone was paintwork but it is not. The opening for the range was also uneven. When I wrote the store about these issues I never even received a response.
We had a counter top in our bathroom replaced by Stone Source. They put a huge hole in the wall during demolition above the backsplash, there was a 1/4-1/2" overlap over the side of the counter top backsplash and counter top, 1/4" gap on the front side of the countertop, left with caulk oozing out between the backsplash and top, they cut the stone outside on our front porch and the quartzite dust was left on the porch and all over the side of our house (which we are unable to completely remove from the siding}. They charged ... read more
I am an interior designer in the ***********. When I decided to remodel my own kitchen, I went to Stone Source to select my kitchen countertop because I knew they had unique stones. I worked with a woman there who showed me several stones. I told her before we looked at anything that I wanted either granite or quartzite. I explicitly told her I did not want marble, as I know that marble stains and is not a great choice for a space like a kitchen, that gets a tremendous amount of use. She assured me that the stone I selected ... read more
We made a large purchase of granite, ceramic tile, and luxury vinyl plank flooring from Stone Source ($10K +). When we initially visited the showroom, we were told the granite and tile was special order and could not be returned, but that and unopened boxes of the LVP flooring could be returned as they were not special order. I followed up with verification of these statements via e-mail and received confirmation from our Salesperson. When the project was done, Stone Source refused to take back the remaining flooring (over $... read more
We had a horrible experience with Stone Source. First, our initial estimate was wrong. They forgot to add in the desk area. They blamed our contractors but I saw the measurements provided as I asked for a copy so that I could price shop. It included the desk so unless our contractor provided something different to SS then this was a miss on their part. When SS came to measure they mentioned that they needed sink specs. Our contractors provided that. The day before install they said they needed the sinks on site to cut the gr... read more
