Usually, I give Stone Mountain 5 Stars, but, not this time! First I damaged my RV on a support wire partially hidden by a bush! Then, getting out to see what happened, I was stung by 20 plus yellow jackets! To their credit, they sent over a park paramedic to check me out and I appreciated that. Now, I am washing clothes at one of the worst park laundry facilities I have seen at an RV park. Dirty, no machines for change or detergent and the washers and dryers look antique! Very disappointing for a park of this stature!

Its very very relaxing, something for everyone! The rangers are very present and available. It's very safe. The rangers monitor all activities visiting each site.

The after 4 package is the best deal. Go on Sunday night and stay at the Stone Mountain Inn. The weather was miraculously great.

I have been going to Stone Mt. Since I was 5, 40 yrs now. I have always enjoyed the history and nature of Stone Mt. But the history is being diminished. We always bring our food because any time we have eaten there we always feel jipped. Over priced food that is not great. We usually sit close to the lake to watch the laser show, we would walk around the lake and discuss the carving how long it took, who the people are and so forth. That did not happen this time though because the area was blocked off for drones that were to... read more
