Such an awesome place to learn such history. The museum was awesome and very helpful volunteers. The sights at this National park were breathtaking. We loved it!

A Georgia State park with its centerpiece a memorial to Rebels and Traitors to the United States? I think not. Memorials to the Confederate States of America, its leaders, its Military Generals, and its soldiers only belong in cemeteries, museums, History books, or on private property. Cannot believe the price of $15 just to get in! Are you crazy? Just wanted to view the mountain with out of town guests. Decided to eat there. Food choices were horrible, and so expensive. Insane. The employees at the Big Rock Cafe were rude and couldn't even count! Finally food ready, no tray, just handed it to you. Felt like we were an inconvenience to them. Probably never going back. Too many wonderful state and county parks out there!!

So I want to know why the 15.00 parking pass to get in. Such a rip off!!! All they want now is money!! That parking lot has been there for years. I am so tired of money hungry people and business!!!! Not sure that I wi... read more
