Incredibly upset and disappointed in Stone Mountain Park. The park is in no way shape or form easy to visit when you have a disabled family member. To wait in the line for a popular attraction with a child who is autistic is frightening at best. We were turned away multiple times from a show that we really wanted to see because we can't wait in lines for more than 10 minutes with out having a meltdown...and being told that because you showed up 10 minutes early and not 15 the show is full, is probably just as bad. We had wonderful time last week....even if we did get lost on the mountain. Thought the Cherokee Trail took us up the mountain but found out it went around...after 3 hours we made it to the top...cant wait to go back...
Camped at Stone Mountain Campground for spring break this week. Just wanted to say how helpful the reservation staff is. I was actually purchasing 2 different packages plus an additional night at a Good Sam discount and they walked me through it and handled it perfectly. All tickets and passes were correct upon arrival! Had a great week and will definitely camp here again!

Membership does not have its privileges here. Unless you upgrade to plus, you will not be able to purchase a duck tour. Even then, staff members said we needed to wait in the 1 hour line prior to park open. After the wait, a very unsympathetic staff member in window told us we could get on later tonight. My kids are too small to stay here until tonight. I wouldn't have come except the csr on the phone yesterday thought we'd be fine to get a duck tour by 1 if we arrived an hour early.
