Welcome to Stone Manor Pet Care, a family owned and operated business for 40 years. We have served the Frederick County and surrounding 30 mile radius areas, including Maryland and 4 State area since 1974. Complete pet care is provided on a daily basis for dogs and cats. Our objective is to make the pet boarding experience for both the owner and the pet feel as comfortable as possible.

Animal neglect, animal cruelty, disregard of cleanliness standards, poor customer care and most importantly THE ABSOLUTE WORST and inhumane treatment of animals you can possibly imagine. I hope you’re arrested, sued and closed indefinitely for the poor animal lives you’ve cost. Terrible, terrible humans.

If you love your dogs, DON'T leave them here! We had a terrible experience and our dogs behavior was noticeably different than with other boarding experiences at kennels where they will gladly show you the kennels and how they care for the animals. This "kennel" will not let you see where the dogs are kept, stating "you can see the pictures on our website". My gut said don't leave them here but we didn't have an alternative. Trust your gut people. I regret I didn't.
This place is a disgrace! Picked my dog up covered in his own urine and with cuts. He was also limping and just laid around, which he is usually hyper. Animal control was contacted and I was told by the person that went out that the back where they kept the dogs looked like an episode of the show horders. He had to go to the vet where they diagnosed him with urine scald to all 4 paws. NEVER NEVER USE THIS PLACE!!!
I live near this kennel. When I walk by in the morning I hear a woman screaming at the dogs in a very, very mean way- "shut up!! Shut up!!!!" and so on. It scares me. We left our dog (long deceased now) there in the 80s. When we picked her up, she seemed traumatized. She was otherwise, a loving, mixed lab.
I see this kennel has not changed based on the reviews. I boarded my toy poodle there back in 1988 when we had a death in the family. She came back literally shell shocked and it took her several days to become her old, happy self. However, the stress she experienced caused her to start passing blood in her stools. We had to take her to the vet who placed her on a bland diet for a week along with medicine to heal up her stressed stomach.
