Paid application fee and deposit. Could not get anyone to call us back or talk to us about our application or lease for a week at any of the numerous numbers provided on their site, paperwork, and application. Very bad customer service. Told that deposit and application fee are non-refundable when we finally got to speak to someone 7 days later. Better to lose this money now than pay rent to this place for the next year I guess.
Property mgr doesn't know what she's doin, hires maintenance workers that are shady n can't be trusted. They raise rent 20 to 30 bucks a year!
******WARNING******* Horrible Staff and Management. Applied for an apartment January 8th - quoted a price and signed documentation with $75 in application fees and $200 pre deposit. After they received our money we heard nothing.... until 2 weeks later when they said the apartment they quoted us fell through and now nothing they can offer us at that price. This company lies, and cashes your checks. We have demanded our money back and now they tell us we have to wait with no specific date since "corporate" only cuts the check... read more
Love this Community! I cannot begin to explain how great my experience at Woodland Creek has been. At move in the leasing staff could not have done a better job. They really made my move in easy. My apartment is beautiful. I was a little worried that I would have to put some of my stuff in storage. Not the case, I chose an Ash and the bonus room is HUGE! I managed to get a spot in the community garden and my tomato plants did really well. I love seeing my neighbors out walking and even taking advantage of the new dog parks. ... read more
I would not recommend this place to anyone. We now have two ceiling leaks and the office will not tell us when they will be fixed. We have been given multiple different prices for monthly rent, application fees and our pro-rated rent for when we moved in. Parking is horrible. Kitchen is tiny. HORRIBLE washer and dryer in the unit. When I turn the shower on it is first green.
At first glance, this apartment complex was perfect. Appeared to be much nicer than other areas in Mount Pleasant and the staff seemed very friendly. I lived there for about two years with no problems until I got mold in my apartment. All of a sudden, they turned into slumlords. I was blamed for the mold that was growing all over my three bedroom apartment because one of the rooms had a humidifier. I stayed at Woodland Creek guest suites while I was working in Grand Rapids for 2 months, and I really enjoyed my stay. It was a nicely furnished 2 bedroom apartment with lots of extras and the location was convenient for me. Loved the washer & dryer and health club membership, service was always good. I'd highly recommend it.
