I went for a showing for one of their available units. It is in rough shape, but there is not much available so I figured I would go for it. I went online to apply and found that it costs $27. Vermont has laws that protect housing applicants, including a prohibition against landlords collecting a fee for background checks. This is so that prospective tenants are not paying hundreds of dollars to various landlords during the application process. Do not rent from this company— they are truly a scam. No communication, no responding, they put fake fees on my rent…currently working with a lawyer to try and get out from under this horrible place.
