This is a great place for fried chicken and apple fritters!
Always our first stop, when we get into town for breakfast. It is a must go to for us every time we are in town.
RecommendedAlways great food. Our waitress, Amber, was the best, but your hostesses are in need of people skills. Not a smile from any of them. You get better hospitality from a soup kitchen. Such a shame because we have been here before and enjoyed it, which was the reason this restaurant was our choice for a family meal.
Lots of good country food. I had the catfish which was really good. Loved the apple fritters. A little expensive but u get a lot. Grandkids were not so excited.
We arrived at 8 pm and they close at 9 pm. The Doughnut Holes were fabulous, but the dinners were luke warm. It felt like we were getting the bums rush. We had Strawberry Shortcake which was big enough for more than two, and it was really good.
Good wholesome food, and plenty of it. Good service, too. Wait staff were friendly and efficient.
Have been hearing about this place for years and have tried to get in for breakfast several times. We made it today! The biscuit and gravy was excellent. The rest of the food was very good but not any better than any other breakfast restaurant. The service was very good and Ruthie never let our glasses get empty.
Excellent food & service will definitely be going back
One of our favorite special occasion breakfasts. The food is great & service is fast.
