We went for Happy Hour and my nephew wanted to try the calf fries. He’s 15 and wants to try different foods. Who am I to discourage him. So we went to the Stockyards and ordered the calf fries. He enjoyed them while I enjoyed the grilled filet bites which were amazing. They have complimentary sliders which were tasty and chips/salsa. First, but not last time there. The bar was a little dark, but the restaurant was well lit. Great place for date night, Happy Hour, and A place to take clients. Rich with history.
They rushed us. Food was good. Not as seasoned as I prefer. Pricey for what you get. Closed at 9 pm on the dot. No after dinner drink. Basically get out.
The food and service was amazing! Thank you for delivering a great experience! We will be back!
I really enjoy this place. However last time I was there, I was given a 12oz steak instead of a 16 and the waiter argued stating it was simply a different part of the same cut. I was with my mom otherwise I would have given you no tip. If I go in there and see you again I'll ask for another table.
