I had the country fried steak, eggs, hash browns, and toast. It definitely caught me by surprise by how huge it was when the waitress set it down in front of me. It was a very good diner and there was tons of choices. My boy friend and I will definitely be back. 🙂
The Stockbridge Diner specializes in handmade food. The cook (owner) works right in front of you at a flat top grill and it's amazing to watch. The omelets are to die for, and the custom made burgers are outstanding. I don't think you can go wrong here. This small town diner is an experience that's disappearing from the American landscape. Go while you still can. Five stars out of five.
Have lunched there on my way home from Jackson several times. Never disappointed. I only get breakfast so I can’t comment on the menu too much but the food has always been excellent. Chicken fried steak is almost too much to eat and the farmers skillet is top notch. I’ll always stop here on my way through.
Stopped in at an off-hour... 2:30. ... wasn’t expecting much... ordered their “specialty” chicken fried steak with hash browns n eggs. Took a second risk and ordered the eggs over easy.... WOW! Best chicken fried I’ve eaten!! And then I eyed the eggs and carefully poked them: PERFECT over easy. Incredible. Amazing. And my leftover chicken fried was tasty this morning, too!! My Texas- crew will soon be dropping by!! Oh- the potatoes: real, not frozen. Done to perfection as well. Biggie smile!!! Thank you for making my day!!

Thanks Keith and Molly for another great lunch my fave general tso . Always great laughs and fun people to chat with when we are in. Also help wanted signs are up if anyone is needing a job . Thanks always as for the food and laughs .And always accommodating to my husband with his wheelchair.
