I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Stockall and all of his staff. I came to him after another urologist did some severe damage to my kidney during a laser lithotrypsy. I was in BAD shape for about a week before we knew why. I was initially in and out of surgeries and office visits for about 4-5 months. In check-ups, I was still getting large stones. He realized I had a parathyroid tumor and sent me to a specialist who removed it. I'm grateful for his knowledge. He and his staff were always kind to me.

I felt like a #. I understand he has a lot of respected knowledge but his bedside manner leaves MUCH to be desired. He spent less than a minute with me face to face in my initial visit, and in my follow up procedure he said very few words to me and was there less than 5 minutes. In which time he put me in pain, showed zero compassion and offered no information on the pain I should expect to be in the rest of the day. Also the office did not provide anything to clean myself up with afterward.

I'm diabetic and I had kidney stones. I felt like I was a number, not a patient. Example: They recommended a low-oxalate diet, but being diabetic I am encouraged to eat many of the foods listed as high oxalate on the generic handout they gave me. I asked if they had a low-oxalate diet for diabetics. I got the equivalent of a grunt. Then the physician was out of the room. I'm left to figure it out for myself.
