I was turned away from my appointment today for being just 11 minutes late. I was stuck in traffic, and then had to spend time paying for parking and finding a spot, which took longer than expected. I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant, and this scan was incredibly important to me. Unfortunately, both the receptionist and the technician showed a complete lack of empathy toward my situation. I called in advance to let them know I was running late due to traffic, sadly something I could not have controlled. At almost 38 weeks pregnant this was an important scan for me to receive prior to birth. I was treated very rudely by the receptionist who said she cannot guarantee the tech would take me depending when I came in, so she put me on hold to ask the tech, by the time she took me off hold, I had arrived and ran upstairs as quickly as I could.
