RecommendedGreat company. Not happy we have to pay more because CEA and AFT did not do their jobs for us. But it is well worth it.
No red tape. No approval process. Medicare pays 80%, they pay 20%. That's pretty much been my experience.

I remember going to the CEA retirement workshop in preparation for my retirement and hearing the presenter when talking about our health care coverage say ,our "supplemental would be Stirling Benefits and that they were well named because their coverage was "sterling", the best !" My husband and I have had the Stirling supplemental now for several years and have always been extremely satisfied with this plan and coverage. I have had excellent care and experiences with my Stirling coverage. I recently had surgery and both the hospital and my doctor’s office commented on the excellent coverage provided by Stirling. Although it will be more expensive, I will be staying with Stirling as my supplemental!
