We visited on June 16, and had an hour and half wait. We didn’t mind so much because I have seen really good reviews and we were excited to try it out. Unfortunately, the service was less than what we hoped- we only had our drinks filled once (when they were brought to us), and the food was okay. My daughter ordered the chicken fried steak, it was mostly breading, and the fries tasted like old grease. I’d give it 2 stars out of five. We just had hoped for better after seeing all the positive reviews.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid & it’s always been a family favorite & tradition to come eat here every trip we take to the beach. I’m from nacogdoches TX & I won’t ever make a trip to crystal beach without coming to eat here. The fried oysters are my favorite ☺️🦀
Food and service was horrible tonight.
Having a nice romantic dinner with my bride over looking the ocean ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Wendy had Avocado stuffed with shrimp and crab meat Shrimp gumbo I had Ribeye steak and baked potato This food is amazing !! The service is fast and friendly ! Rebecca is amazing and friendly The restaurant is right on the ocean ( see pic ) not the best shot but taken from inside the restaurant All in all. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5 Follow “ The Food Critic “ Facebook page for more places to chose from.
