Maco is amazing! He starts every session with a check-in so I am able to articulate what has been going on in my body. He is very intuitive and knows exactly what my body needs. He has a calming environment and presence in which I feel comfortable in. There is constant communication and adjustments that fits my needs. I highly recommend Maco!
"Therapeutic" has taken on a whole new meaning for me after my physical therapist recommended massage therapy to complement my PT exercises for neck, shoulder and knee pain. I feel so fortunate to have found Maco. I've never felt justified to go back to someone a second time (let alone more than ten times!) but working with Maco has been transformative. He brings an exceptional combination of skill, deep knowledge, listening, responsiveness and care to every session... every session is relaxing, healing, and supportive.
I don't know what good fortune has come across my path by being on Maco's table. I have received my share of massages and Maco's may be the first time I have ever felt like I received a full tablespoon of medicine. Everyone else maybe gave me 3/4 of a tablespoon. Maco is a very thoughtful massage therapist. Consent is a key component in each session. As a very large person, I have felt improvements in pain management through his care. I was very nervous to start with a new practitioner due to my medical concerns often being dismissed or overlooked due to size. In some instances I could feel that someone felt uncomfortable working with my body. I have always felt welcomed, received and respected under Maco's care. And he has stellar taste in music. :)
