Terrible service and product. I am a licensed plumber and installed two of these electric instantaneous heaters 2 weeks ago. One of them was faulty and Stiebel promised to send a technician out in 1-2 days. Over a week has now passed with constant promises of "we will call you back" and also a different excuse every time as to why they haven't booked in the technician. Avoid this company. Like the plague. Bought an Entron WWK 302H and had it installed in 2019. I noticed some rusty water was leaking from one of the valves right before the 5 year warranty was about to expire. In Canberra there is apparently only one person who is authorised to do warranty service. It took me 5+ months to get it done. I had to contact the repairman over a dozen times. Our Stiebel under sink HWS developed a slow leak a little over 5 years after installation. Although this was just outside the warranty period, Stiebel sent me a replacement unit at no cost - terrific service!
Extremely terrible. I installed water heater model (DHCE 8/50) on 22 Feb 2024. the unit worked fine until 8 Oct 2024. I contacted Stiebel Eltron Service on 8 Oct and and sent to them all requested documents. They sent to me an email that a technician will contact you in 24-48 hours, but this never happened until I chassed them three times. finally the technician arrived after about a week without hot water. I recently bought a Stieble Eltron Hot water unit -SNU 10 for an under sink hot water system. I am quite happy with water system which works great and refills and heats its tank within about 15 min from empty (80degs Sydney tap water supply October) The stand out is actually the before and after sales service from Jonny (Sydney Biz Dev Manager.
