Good Ribs – Local chopped BBQ is better but both locations (downtown and Mt. Pleasant) serve good ribs. A nice family retaurant chain.
Not impressed – When I first moved here from Texas I was looking for a good Barbque restaurant and one of my co-workers recommended this place. I have to say I am not impressed at all! When I recieved my dinner I thought that she had handed me my childs plate! So all in all I have to say that the food is very bland and in very small portion.
among the best ribs – ribs. that's all there was to it. my wife and i split a big ol' sampler platter and the ribs won, hands down. pulled pork was good. wings - we could have done without. go memphis dry and then you can sauce them up anyway you want. the place was still hoppin on a thursday night around 9:30 when we arrived. and on the weekend, forget it. great energy, but it gets really noisy and there's a wait out front with only one bench to sit on. i think we spent $60 for the 2 of us: appetizer, sampler platter, 4 bee... read more
The best BBQ in the South! – I would name Stickys as one of the best restaurants in Charleston, which is no small feat, as the area offers tons of fun and fine dining. If you enjoy BBQ even in the least, you will LOVE their ribs, pork and wings! Following my first meal at Sticky Fingers, I have never looked backed or eaten barbecue elsewhere!
The Best! – The best barbecue and ribs, hands-down. And I recently tried the wings -- one of my new favorites! It's such a great place to take the family, my kids love it.
Great Food! – We ate at Sticky Fingers over Memorial Day weekend and it was fantastic. Their sauces are great and the food is wonderful.
Overhyped – The barbecue sandwiches were small and bland. The prices weren't cheap, who put them in the cheap eats group? The high recommendations in the other reviews seem fake.
Ribtastic – Fall off the bone ribs. The Memphis Style Dry are the best tasting, with a wonderful dry-rub that leaves more pork flavor. The Memphis Style Wet are the most popular but the sauce tends to cover the natural pork flavors. They have the BBQ sauce on the table so you may add it to your dry ribs if you prefer. Great place, don't miss it in your travels.
Don't be afraid to make a mess at this popular, downtown barbecue joint. – The Scene Sticky Fingers, Charleston's popular local chain of barbecue restaurants, is the epitome of casual dining: dark wood, oversize booths, framed posters of blues legends peering down at you as you shamelessly gnaw that last bit of pork off the bone. Silverware comes wrapped in a hand towel rather than a napkin, and it's a blessing. Consuming a rack of Carolina-style ribs is a messy job.
