Sticker Station in Sanford is horrible! Failed as I needed a new passenger lightbulb. He was going to charge me $52.00 for a sticker and bulb for my passenger side light! Went to Auto Zone and they replaced for FREE. Went back to Sticker Station within 10 minutes and he told me sorry can't do it today! This place is if you fail you pay $12.50 and when you go back you pay 12.50 again. This place is a rip-off! Went to VIP and was told if they fail a vehicle, you bring it back fixed within 30 days. Rip off. The mechanic charged me $22.50 to install a plate light, a job which took about 2 minutes. When I questioned the charge, the mechanic got nasty saying, "this is why people don't want to do stickers." F for personality and F for attitude.
My boyfriend went their the other day and he cut his sticker in half and the sticker was good thru next month. I was their once before and he is very, very rude. Won't ever return and hopefully people start to realize he's a scammer and stop going there for a stickers.
I got the exact same rude ass service from some young punk the other day at the Biddeford Sticker Station/Jim's Auto. He tried getting me to come back and pay the fee multiple times when only one inspection probably would have done. They'll never get my business.
CROOKS! Make sure you read the manual before going too ANY location! You people are the reason no one trusts mechanics anymore.
Big scam, watch out! Check your bulbs, they unscrew them loose and tell you if you touch anything, you'll have to repay another inspection fee.
