I am so grateful to have found Stick and Stone. I waited much longer than I should have to take care of my mental health as I was nervous about what I would experience. I shouldn't have worried. Stick and Stone Counselling has created a supportive and welcoming community that has helped me through some of the most difficult times of my life. Working with my counsellor, I learnt to listen and recognize patterns within my body, understand how my experiences have shaped me and make changes to work through them. I have grown in ways I didn’t expect, and Stick and Stone has been an important part of my growth.
got the worst counsellor. he made me feel more frustrated and i asked for a women and he just said okay and hung up. very hard to talk to instead of giving me time to talk he was questioning me on everything and asking why i feel the way i did at that time. its not his job to know whys sometimes a person just needs someone to talk to. didnt get the support i hoped for.
We have used Stick and Stone for a variety of purposes - individual, youth and marriage counselling. Every counsellor we’ve interacted with has offered compassionate and informed care. The administrative team has been very helpful in ensuring we are able to utilize our insurance benefits. Fantastic team to work with all around - highly recommend!
