Worst banking experience I’ve had. Turned away multiple times even when I was requested by St George (via broker) to have my identity verified. Strangely enough I already have an active St George account. How is that not verification enough. I’d pick a new branch if not bank all together.
Extremely poor service went in there for some help, for business banking was told they would help, nope told to go home and do it my self after the lady saying it’s easy will take only mins, what a load of….. in the end I went to Chatswood within 5mins I was helped they printed the documents and sent them away need to learn better about service very 29/6/26 definitely not going back there
Certain 'customers' should not come to the bank when they are 'uncivilised' and lacking any 'manners'.
I was told I can’t get a new card when it was expired. Then they told me I can’t get a bank card for at least 5 to 7 days. Asked them to help me order a card to a different branch told me they are unable to do that. Do not go here unless you love to waste time. Never been treated so poorly in a St George bank in my 34 years of having an account with them. I think I will move my home loan now as I am discussed this n the service I was given.
This branch has assisted me for over twenty years. I have experienced courteous service and “grace under pressure” from the highly competent staff.
