Terrible service and long wait times, what else can you expect from a horrible corporation who gladly takes your money and then treats you like nothing more than another number in their system. Do yourself a favour and change banks to one that is at least slightly less hopeless or actually care about their clients.
Appaulling customer service and wait time… Friday noon and I’ve been told I’m next in line for the last 30 mins. I’ve given feedback while staff came scrambling out only to call out, “I’m still on lunch for another 15mins” I asked to see the branch manager, who was the person that came out of the room, waving her hands in a go away guesture and the one screaming I’m still on lunch”. Rude lady at the teller, I came up to her with a St George cheque and said I want to cash it in but I’m with Commonwealth so she told me to go to Commonwealth within like first 5 seconds of me approaching the counter. When i went to commonwealth she told me I couldn’t receive the cash in hand because I’d have to cash it at St George. At the Bondi junction branch I was able to do this.
Very unprofessional lady at the reception didn’t get her name (13 aug 2024) I went in to get some help or just ask few questions instead she just told the other staff from other bank as westpac has same front desk “we don’t do it just do it online” and didn’t even talk to me so i just had to leave embarrassed,what a service . 🤌 If i have to experience that kind of behaviour its better to take my and everyone else’s business somewhere else at least not in here . Do better St george bank
Its cosharing with Westpac except StG customers are an afterthought as we are just being forced into Australias most dodgy major bank. Ignored, lied to and made to stand around forever in hope we will go online and they can fire more people and book more outrageous fees. Junk rude experience at least for English speakers.
