RecommendedBeen coming to Stewart’s since i was a kid with my family and now I’m coming with mine. Never disappointed. Great service and food. Even with COVID and not being able to sit outside or have the window trays it was always an amazing experience
Saturday, June 13, 2020 1:00pm We have been a customer for many years. Food and service were always good. Unfortunately, over the past two months, on 4 occasions, one of the waitress’s, who has taken our order, needs to be retrained in customer service. Unprofessional attitude, complaining of being overworked to the customers. We have noticed, while we were waiting for service, she will look at cars pulling in, she’ll sweep and continue conversation with the other girls on staff, and after 10 minutes will come out to the car... read more

Eating at Stewart’s is a family tradition getting handing down generation by generation. My parents took me here as a kid for a treat when they could afford it and now I take my family. My fondest memory is getting the root beer 🍺 float and root beer soda in a frosted glass mug 😊😊😊
Stewart's in Rahway has been around since I was 1 year old. And, though I have lived most of my life in other cities and states, I always come back to Rahway Stewart's whenever I'm in NJ. And, it's always a hot dog with kraut, fries, and root beer -- same order for 50 years. It's a wonderful taste of home and lifelong tradition I always look forward to. I miss the glass mugs, but as long as the car hop tray still hangs on the driver's side window it will always be a bit of history and tradition that calls me back - nostalgia... read more
It’s a nice place. If you like crispy bacon ask for it.
