Dr. Stewart made me feel comfortable in a strange situation. He was very knowledgeable and straight forward. The staff was awesome.
When I was referred to Dr. Thaxton, I was in a mess. I had a very bad and ugly large sore on my right check which included my lower eye lid. I would keep it covered up and would not even let my doctor look at it. I am one of many out there that are truly terrified of going to a doctor as I had some bad experiences when I was a child. Dr Thaxton was recommended by my oncology surgeon. I had breast cancer. I was scared and anxious. Dr Thaxton was calming an reassuring. The surgery schedules were filled but Dr Thaxton said, "I always make room for my cancer patients." And he did - I had the mastectomy in a week. Bad luck, my tumor was way bigger then the tests revealed and Dr Thaxton had a big job trying to put me back together. Special thank you to Dr. Thaxton for going above and beyond for my 2 year old son today!! He cut his ear at daycare and Dr. Thaxton did not hesitate to work us in the office then go do surgery this evening on him!!!!
