Construction and parking problem This used to be a nice place to live, however ongoing construction and parking issue is a big no. Construction is estimated to last over a year due to the building being old. I highly recommend not moving here. Try coming in at night past 9pm and see the current parking situation and during the day to hear how loud the drills are.
Terrible property This is one of the worst properties in Silver Spring for a number of reasons. Carjackings, robberies, murder, etc. This property advertises a gated community but there is really no security. There is also a roach, mold and termite infestation in most units. On top of all that, the staff here is below mediocre.
You should totally consider here I love love love my unit. I didn’t want to write a review till I had lived here for a while. Well, I’ve lived in SM for almost a year & I can say I’ve had more reasons to love this community than hate being here. My bedroom has a cute little stream that flows behind the window & the view is magnificent! You should see it at winter time when it snows, & the train track fascinates my 4 year old! Maintenance is Above and Beyond I have lived at Nob Hill here in Silver Spring for well over 11 years. I recently put in a request to have a maintenance person replace a shower filter for me. I purchased this myself, and it was not really his responsibility to do this favor for me, but when I came home from work there was a notice hung on my door that it had been taken care of. Maintenance has always been very good and competently handled for a variety of reasons.

Good for the price Pros: - decent location in downtown SS - big apartments - some have patios (you have to call to ask about this though, they don't advertise it on their website) - pet friendly - management is courteous and responsive for the most part, occasional annoyance but nothing terrible - good online portal to pay rent and make maintenance requests which generally get taken of quickly - I haven't see any mice and only occasional bugs which were handled when I reported it (I do have cats though) - decent value esp co... read more

Terrific Place to Live & GREAT staff!!! I stayed at The Standard for approx. 2 years and the experience was great from beginning to end. The apartments are well maintained by the maintenance crew and the front desk/office staff are terrific...ALL of them! I would gladly recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment in the city. The building is also nicely secured, and ALWAYS clean. There were absolutely no issues with receiving my mail.

Pretty okay. Good for the price. I've lived at Middletowne apartments for 2 years now and this is my honest review. Pros: • Price is hard to beat. Good rent for the area with utilities (water/electric/gas) included in a flat rate, which is nice. • People who work in the front office and nice, friendly, and helpful! • Quiet. don’t move it do not move in here i’ve been here about a year or two now and this place is horrible. when i first moved in i had problems with my bathroom and i asked them to fix it they never did. i literally had a hole in my floor. then my bath tile was coming off and i put in about maybe 3 request for them to fix it and they didn’t so it took them almost a whole year to come fix my bathroom tile. the place gets little to no air. you’ll need a fan because when they turn the air off it’s HOT i mean it makes you not wanna co... read more

Not All Bad! Reading all the previous reviews I’m a little confused, not gonna lie! The maintenance is amazing and the leasing office was so accommodating! I’ve been here for 2 years and the only issue I’ve had is with having multiple building managers and the fitness center remodel taking forever (we are in a pandemic though and I don’t blame them).
