I have had my cars and trucks maintenance at ********* Toyota West for years. I have my car maintenance regularly on a six-month basis. The last time I had my car in the shop was in mid-August. In November, my cars heater stopped working. There were no other problems and my car drove fine. I made an appointment. I asked if I should be driving the car. I had been servicing my 2006 Toyota Tundra with Stevinson Toyota West since 2014. In 2019 I took my Tundra to Stevinson for a drivetrain fluid change. During the winter of 2019/2020 I tried using the 4WD feature of my truck but it did not work. I took it back to Stevinson and they owned up to the fact that their technician had not replaced the fluid in the front differential.They stated that this was their fault and that they would replace the damaged differential with a factory new replacement. We have given sales at this location multiple chances to sell us a new car. We are loyal Toyota owners, our family has leased 3 times in the last five years and we have always gone elsewhere. I have never been as disrespected as I was today. We were guaranteed that an SR5 qualified for a lease special but once the truck was transferred to their lot, suddenly, they didnt want to honor the lease special. FORGOT TO PUT OIL FILTER IN MY TACOMA!!! I recently decided to take my truck maintenance into my own hands and Im glad I did. I preformed a simple oil change only to open my oil filter container to find NO OIL FILTER. I drove ****** miles with no oil filter because the lack of attention from this dealership. I found myself unexpectedly needing to buy a new car last week and called Stevinson Toyota West. I was really dreading the whole experience due to the shortage and markup of new and used cars these days. After having a third party mechanic come and look at my vehicle, we discovered that it needs camshaft gear replacement. We contacted ************************* a service adviser at ********* Toyota West, and he sent us an estimate of how much it will be. We went to ********* Toyota West, and ************************* said that they replace camshaft gears all the time and that is a typical problem for this make and model. I have never experienced worse customer service by a company before in my life. Every single solitary time I take my car in there is always SOMETHING that goes wrong. Had I not purchased their warranty/free oil change package back in 2016 when I bought my car brand new, I most definitely would have taken my business elsewhere a long time ago. There is a charge for diagnosing concerns but if the concern is a covered warranty issue, there is no charge, which is customary. On Saturday August 17th 2019 I went into Stevinson Toyota to look into buying a new Camry. After waiting over 10 mins to someone to help me I had to track someone down finally. A sales agent by the name of Sydney started to look into my credit application I had put into earlier. He then brought over someone I assume was a "manager." Our inability to sell you a car was based solely on your credit history and delinquency on your current auto loan.
