I took my '06 Saturn Ion to Steve's Automotive Specialists to fix a leak in my fuel line. The moment I walked in, I felt like they say someone they could take advantage of and did take advantage of her. Once they got my car on their rack and told me what was wrong, they refused to let me take it anywhere to shop around. They charged me over $800 to replace a fuel pump. I found the average price for a fuel pump on your Saturn runs between $628 and $809 (before tax), the difference being the quality of the fuel pump installed. I like the level of experience of their technicians.
The service has been great so far. I have been in here twice for oil changes. So far I believe they are far more trustworthy than jiffylube or other mechanics. My main issue has been the speed at which they work. I understand quality is important and I appreciate the work but an oil change should not take more than 30 minutes. I know the summer can be busy but when I schedule an appointment for an oil change, I would expect it to be fairly quick. Seriously nicest people. They also didn't charge me a shit ton of money and got my Audi fixed in 2 hours with half the cost of the dealer. Also helped me out with some other stuff just because it was my birthday. Thanks guys for making my car perfect again. �
