This hospital is the worst for malpractice. Some years ago I went in to have my baby and instead of giving me the epidural in my spine the doctor injected me with morphine causing my baby to be born not breathing and me sick to my stomach. All the staff were very loud and inconsiderate to our needs. The nurse was sleeping at the desk when I was almost dying as well my unborn baby. Came in with ambulance just to wait 7 hours and leave last after all the walk in patients after a car accident suffering face injuries and wrist injuries.
Nursing service is absolutely pathetic! Came to check up my finger infection through nail bite, doctor punctured a hole and removed the Septic from inside then after I waited for almost an hour (thinking a nurse will show up to do dressing/ bandage) but no body came...when I went to staff office, I see all the nurses are having pizza party!!!! Then a nurse came after 5 mins, just read the doctor's prescription and discharged me!!!! Still no dressing of my poked hole or bandage, I guess that's my responsibility to take care.
This review is for the birthing unit at Stevenson Memorial Hospital. I recently had my C-section at Stevenson, and I’m very happy with the care and support I received. Dr. Nancy Kumar, who performed my surgery, was incredibly kind and supportive before, during, and after the procedure. The nurses in the birthing unit are truly gold.
