Dr. Stevens provided excellent care for my rheumatoid arthritis. He is very knowledgeable in the current treatment options, and he chose the right medication for me. I am very happy with my care.

I would not be here if not for Dr. Michael Stevens. He's been my rheumatologist since May '05. I was admitted into Sycamore hospital with a major lupus flare that another rhummy, who was a 'paper writer, presenter at conferences & book writer' type, had not been treating aggressively. He worked with a team of docs (who I still use) to treat my SLE, Nephritis, Reynauds, & Antiphospholipid. We always discuss blood panels, meds, etc at every appt and he is very friendly, personal & professional.

Sent all labwork, MRI's, X-rays, a week or two ahead of time. Dr. Stevens skipped into the office, obviously happier than finding me in his office. Hadn't reviewed anything, blew me out the door and $60 poorer. Maybe it was because I was in my early forties at the time but since that meeting, he had my DO and myself under the impression that there wasn't much of anything wrong with me. So, here it is mid-2016 and I've been suffering for years, have had several more MRI's, (torn labrum, etc).
